Harry Kane continues to be a key player for Bayern Munich, scoring two goals in their 4-0 victory against Werder Bremen. With these goals, Kane has broken an all-time record that was previously held by Cristiano Ronaldo and Erling Haaland.

His performance at Allianz Arena made Kane the fastest player in major European leagues—Germany, France, Spain, Italy, and England—to reach 100 goals for a single club. He hit this milestone in only 104 matches, averaging almost a goal per game.

Before Kane, the record was shared by Ronaldo and Haaland. Ronaldo reached 100 goals for Real Madrid in 105 games during the 2011–12 season, scoring his milestone goal in a UEFA Champions League match against Olympique Lyonnais.

Haaland later equaled this record with Manchester City in 2024. He achieved his 100th goal for the team in a 2-2 Premier League match against Arsenal.

Kane’s historic season

This season is proving to be one of Kane’s best. Earlier, he became the third player in Champions League history to score 20 or more goals for two different teams, joining Ronaldo and Neymar.

In addition, Kane is nearing a significant milestone for England. His goals against Chelsea brought his Champions League total to 53 goal contributions (42 goals and 11 assists), just one behind David Beckham’s all-time English record of 54.

Beckham achieved 54 contributions while playing for Manchester United and Real Madrid, with Wayne Rooney in third place at 51 contributions in the competition. As Kane continues to perform, he is solidifying his place among Europe’s top players and is set to re-write record books.
