Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim has confirmed that Harry Maguire and Leny Yoro will be available to face Nottingham Forest at the City Ground on Wednesday (2/4).
Maguire picked up a knock after the Fulham game and has missed the last four games against Real Sociedad (twice), Arsenal and Leicester City.
Meanwhile, Leny Yoro picked up a foot problem against Arsenal. The injury forced Yoro off in the second half.
“Maguire is ready to play. Yoro, yes,” said Amorim in a pre-match press conference, as quoted by Man United’s official website on Monday (31 March).
Meanwhile, Luke Shaw, who suffered a hamstring injury in December 2024, is not yet ready to play. There is also good news for Kobbie Mainoo, who has been nursing a muscle injury since February.
“Luke (Shaw) is not ready yet. We have started some training with the team. But we have Luke, Mason is feeling better, he was on the bench in the last game.
“I think Kobbie is also close to recovery but not ready for this game. Jonny Evans is recovering, Ayden (Heaven) is also recovering.”
“Who else? Licha (Lisandro Martinez) is out as you know, I think that’s enough,” said the Portuguese coach.
Manchester United are still struggling at the bottom of the table in 13th place. The Red Devils have the chance to move up to 12th if they can beat Nottingham Forest.
