Newcastle’s bid for Woltemade raises speculation about a potential departure of Isak. Reports from England suggest Liverpool is preparing to make a significant offer soon.

According to The Telegraph, negotiations between Liverpool and Newcastle regarding Isak have intensified over the last 24 hours. Liverpool is positioning itself to submit a second bid.

Internal sources estimate this offer could reach Rp 2.9 Trillion plus bonuses, although it remains lower than Newcastle’s asking price of Rp 3.3 Trillion. If successful, this would be one of the highest offers in English football history.

Meanwhile, Sky Sports reports that Woltemade arrived in North England on Thursday night. Negotiations between Stuttgart and Newcastle are progressing quickly, and manager Eddie Howe has indicated positive developments.

He emphasized that no announcement can be made until a deal is finalized, but he is hopeful for a smooth process, increasing the likelihood of Isak’s departure.

Slot Comments, Isak Skips Training

The situation for Isak has become increasingly complicated. The Swedish striker is reported to have refused to train and play with Newcastle United amidst these transfer rumors, strengthening the belief that a move to Liverpool is imminent.

Liverpool manager Arne Slot commented on the potential for new signings, stating the team remains open to acquiring the right players at appropriate prices.

Slot also noted there’s no need for panic after the first two matches of the season, but the team will pursue opportunities to strengthen the squad.

He acknowledged that Newcastle has taken a significant step by recruiting a new striker since Anthony Gordon is currently sidelined, while Isak has had limited training with the team.

With rapid developments over the past few days, Isak’s future will be determined soon. The summer transfer window is closing in just a few days, adding suspense to this ongoing saga.
