Mauro Icardi of Galatasaray is getting ready for his team’s upcoming Champions League matches. He recently shared new photos from a training session on his Instagram.
Icardi posted pictures of himself doing running drills and included an image of the Champions League ball, captioning it ‘Champions League week’ with yellow and red heart emojis and a lion face.
Galatasaray’s first match in this Champions League season is on September 18, where they will face Eintracht Frankfurt away.
Recently, Galatasaray secured a 2-0 victory in the Turkish Super Lig against Eyüpspor. In that match, Icardi made his first start of the season and played almost the entire game. He scored the opening goal in the 73rd minute, helping his team achieve the win.
