India will begin its first CAFA Nations Cup 2025 match against host Tajikistan on Friday, guided by new coach Khalid Jamil.
The Blue Tigers are in Group B, starting with the host nation before taking on IR Iran on September 1 and Afghanistan on September 4. Group A features Uzbekistan, Kyrgyz Republic, Turkmenistan, and Oman.
The top teams in each group will compete in the final, with the runners-up facing off for third place on September 8.
