Inter Miami has signed former Tottenham Hotspur defender Sergio Reguilon. The announcement was made on Monday.
The 28-year-old Spanish player is now contracted with the MLS Cup champions until December 2027, with an option to extend until December 2028.
Reguilon is likely to take over the left-back position from Jordi Alba, who has retired following a successful postseason.
“This is a very ambitious project. It’s a winning club that does things the right way, which is what drew me here: to keep winning and competing,” said Reguilon. “My goal is to keep winning, pursue the trophies we don’t have, and win everything here.”
Reguilon started in Real Madrid‘s academy and has played over 260 professional matches in Spain and England. He won the FIFA Club World Cup with Real Madrid in 2018 and the UEFA Europa League with Sevilla in 2019-20 and again with Tottenham in 2024-25.
