In fact, Inter also managed to score twice against Milan. However, the goal was disallowed because it was offside first .

Meanwhile, Milan, who did not pose much of a threat to Inter’s goal, scored a goal towards the end of the first half. Tijjani Reijnders got his name on the scoreboard.

The goal came from a quick counter-attack on the right side of Inter’s defence. Then, a loose ball from Rafael Leao’s shot was immediately pounced on by Reijnders to put the Rossoneri ahead.

With the goal, Tijjani Reijnders became the fifth Dutch player to score at least 10 goals in Serie A for Milan. The other four are Marco van Basten (90 goals), Clarence Seedorf (47 goals), Ruud Gullit (38 goals) and Frank Rijkaard (16 goals).

Trailing, Inter increased the intensity of their attacks in the second half. Lautaro Martinez had a chance to equalize early in the second half. However, his shot was still saved by Mike Maignan.

After that, Inter came close to scoring again. However, Yann Bisseck’s header still hit the goalpost.

Inter’s tireless efforts to equalize finally paid off before the final whistle or more precisely the 90+3 minute. Stefan de Vrij took advantage of the chaos in front of the Rossoneri goal.

Finally, the score 1-1 lasted until the long whistle was blown. Derby della Madonnina ended without a winner.
