Bournemouth manager Andoni Iraola has stated he will decide on his future soon amid interest from Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur.
Iraola’s contract is set to end this season, and he has not yet communicated his plans to Bournemouth. He has received a new contract offer after performing well since his move from Rayo Vallecano in 2023.
When asked about his future, Iraola mentioned he is ‘close’ to making a choice: “Yes, definitely. It is something that we will have to decide sooner rather than later. There is no news – when there is, we will say it.
“Me and the club are really open; we talk a lot and have open conversations, but we cannot discuss it publicly. That is how it should work.
“These are normal discussions, similar to what happens with players, agents, and other managers. I have a great relationship with the board, and everything is fine between us. There are matters we discuss, but they are internal conversations.”
