Isak Capitalizes on Mistake to Score Debut Goal for Liverpool

Swedish striker Alexander Isak has joined Liverpool after a period without much playing time. It took him just three matches to find the net.

Details: In a League Cup game against Southampton, Isak scored his first goal for Liverpool. After a well-organized play from the back, Reds winger Federico Chiesa took advantage of a defensive mistake from Southampton and set up Isak.

Isak scored easily, marking both his first goal in the match and for Liverpool. Currently, his goal is the only one at Anfield, with his team leading 1-0.

Reminder: Isak made his debut for Liverpool in the previous week’s Champions League match against Atletico but did not score or assist in that game or in the recent derby against Everton.
