Germany and Italy will battle it out for a place in the 2024/2025 UEFA Nations League semi-finals in the second leg of their quarter-final on Monday (23 March) morning. The clash will take place at Dortmund’s Signal Iduna Park, with Die Mannschaft holding a 2-1 aggregate advantage after winning the first leg.
With a one-goal advantage and the support of their home fans, Germany are favourites to reach their first Nations League semi-final. Coach Julian Nagelsmann will be hoping to extend his side’s unbeaten run since Euro 2024 in Germany.
Italy will have to work hard to turn things around in Dortmund if they are to reach a third successive Nations League semi-final. Luciano Spalletti’s side go into the game on a shaky footing, having suffered back-to-back defeats for the first time in two years.
