Brou Eba Serges has faced severe consequences and will no longer be allowed to referee in Ivory Coast. Investigations showed that the Ivorian referee approached club presidents, demanding money in exchange for match victories.
When officials rejected his requests, Brou Eba threatened to ensure their teams would lose. His actions came to light after the General Secretary of Real FC, a local club, reported him, providing audio evidence. As a result, Brou Eba Serges has been banned from all sports activities in Ivory Coast.
