The Elephants held their first training session on Tuesday, April 7.
Head coach Reynald Pedros and his team gathered in Abidjan, with 24 of the 26 called-up players present. Team captain Kakouna Bernadette and Rosemonde Kouassi are expected to join the squad shortly.
This training session marks the official beginning of the Ivorian team’s preparations for the FIFA Series, which will run from April 9 to 16 at the Stade Alassane Ouattara in Ebimpe. Ivory Coast will launch their campaign on April 9 at 7:30 PM GMT against Mauritania.

The tournament will feature friendly matches among the women’s national teams of Ivory Coast, Mauritania, Pakistan, and the Turks and Caicos Islands.
