Jack Wilshere is close to becoming the head coach of Luton Town, according to the BBC.

The 33-year-old, who previously worked with Arsenal‘s youth team and served as interim manager at Norwich City, has been in discussions about taking charge at Kenilworth Road. Sources indicate that an agreement is in place, and Luton is expected to make a formal announcement soon.

Luton Town is currently playing in League One, sitting in 11th place after 11 matches, five points away from the playoff spots.

Since retiring as a player in 2022, Wilshere has taken on various coaching roles and is seen as a promising young manager. In June, there were reports linking him to the Plymouth Argyle position.
