The Sancho transfer saga has concluded.
Once again, it’s another loan deal instead of a permanent transfer.
Details: Aston Villa’s official page on social media platform X announced the signing of 25-year-old winger Jadon Sancho from Manchester United.
Sancho will be with Aston Villa on a season-long loan and is expected to return to Man United at the end of the season.
The loan fee and additional terms will be revealed later.
Sancho joined Man United in 2021 from Borussia Dortmund for €85 million but struggled to secure a regular spot in the starting lineup, resulting in multiple loan spells. He has previously played for Borussia Dortmund and Chelsea over the past four years.
Last season, Sancho was on loan at Chelsea, where he scored 5 goals and provided 10 assists in 41 matches across all competitions. His contract with Manchester United runs until 2026.
Reminder: There’s a change! Emiliano Martínez surpasses Senne Lammens.
