Footem.in – Jadon Sancho is reportedly considering an early exit from his European football career to move to the United States. This decision is influenced by his relationship with American rapper Saweetie.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, the 25-year-old Sancho has turned down offers from AS Roma and Besiktas, with his relationship playing a significant role in his career choices.
After visiting various cities in the U.S. to support Saweetie during her performances, Sancho is seriously contemplating leaving European football to pursue his career in America.
Sancho’s recent journey in Europe has not been smooth. After being loaned to Chelsea last season, the London club opted against making his transfer permanent this summer.
Despite interest from several Serie A teams and clubs in the Turkish Super Lig, reports suggest that Sancho is not keen on returning to Borussia Dortmund for a third stint.
If he does not find a new club before the transfer window closes on September 1, he risks spending the season sidelined with Manchester United.
Since joining Manchester United in 2021 from Borussia Dortmund, Sancho has scored just 12 goals in 83 matches, which is a stark contrast to his impressive record in Germany, where he netted 50 goals in 137 appearances. Last season at Chelsea, he managed to score only 5 goals in 41 appearances.
If Sancho indeed chooses to follow Saweetie to America, it is likely that Major League Soccer (MLS) could be his next destination. However, time is running out to finalize a deal before the transfer window closes.
