Joao Pedro Calls Chelsea Move ‘A Dream Come True’

Joao Pedro expressed that he is living his ‘dream’ since joining Chelsea last summer.

Pedro moved to Chelsea from Brighton in a £60m deal last summer and has made a strong start during his first season at Stamford Bridge.

The Brazilian scored a hat-trick and assisted another goal as Chelsea secured a 4-1 victory against Aston Villa, climbing back into the Premier League‘s top five.

With his hat-trick, Pedro has now netted eight goals in his last eight Premier League matches, bringing his total to 17 goals in all competitions. His 14 goals in the Premier League mark the best season of his career so far.

After the match, Pedro shared his excitement about playing for Chelsea on major stages, saying, “It was a dream night for me. Since I joined Chelsea, I’ve been dreaming of these moments to play for a big team and get my hat-trick – and I think it was a perfect night to get my first hat-trick.”

He added, “We just need to keep moving forward. I’m just living my dream here. I’m very grateful to everyone who has helped me on my journey.”
