Jonathan David’s Costly Mistake That Led to Juventus conceding a Goal

Jonathan David has struggled since joining Juventus this summer, finding the net only once in ten matches. His performance against Lazio on Sunday night did not help improve his standing with the fans.

Starting the match, the Canadian inadvertently contributed to the opponent’s goal just nine minutes in when he headed the ball poorly to Cataldi. The Italian then set up Basic, whose deflected shot beat Di Gregorio (1-0). Igor Tudor decided to substitute David shortly after the hour mark.
