José Mourinho, known as “The Special One,” is poised to officially take charge of Real Madrid shortly.
In a significant development for fans of the Spanish club, renowned journalist Fabrizio Romano reported on his X social media page that Mourinho is already in Madrid and is expected to sign an official contract with Real Madrid soon.
Sources indicate that he could be unveiled as the new head coach of the Galácticos as early as tomorrow. This move follows Benfica securing a €15 million compensation from Real Madrid, which was the final hurdle preventing Mourinho’s return.
Mourinho previously managed Real Madrid from 2010 to 2013, leading the team in 178 matches and achieving 127 wins, 28 draws, and 23 losses.
