Real Madrid player Jude Bellingham is recovering after shoulder surgery this summer, which took place after last season ended. He has now been cleared to return to team training, a news update he shared on his Instagram account.
Bellingham posted pictures from Real Madrid’s training ground, showing moments from the session, and wrote: “8 weeks… Back on the pitch with my brothers! 🫂”. It’s evident that he is excited to train with the team again.
For context, Jude injured his shoulder in November 2023. He postponed surgery and played the entire previous season using a supportive brace. The ongoing injury caused him discomfort and pain, affecting his performance, so surgery was scheduled after the season ended.
He is anticipated to be back in action in October, following his recovery from the procedure.
