Juventus has made a significant move for their future by extending Luciano Spalletti’s contract until 2028. Following this decision, Italian media have revealed the club’s ambitious transfer plans for the upcoming summer window.

As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Spalletti will actively shape the squad, with Newcastle midfielder Sandro Tonali and Arsenal defender Riccardo Calafiori identified as key targets.

The Bianconeri aim to build a strong Italian core, making it logical to pursue national team stars currently playing abroad. However, negotiations may face challenges due to the high transfer fees and the players’ willingness to return to Serie A.

Juventus’s financial capacity will largely depend on the season’s outcome. Currently, the team is competing for a Champions League spot, trailing just one point behind fourth place. Securing a spot in Europe’s elite competition could be crucial for executing their ambitious transfer plans.
