Kannur: The Kannur Warriors have unveiled their new training kit for the 2025-26 season. The design features “Coastal Blue” as its primary color, reflecting the freshness and spirit of the sea. It also includes golden accents inspired by the sunny beaches of Kannur.
The new kit integrates Theyyam motifs and handloom-style textures to represent the region’s cultural energy and pride. The design aims to capture the spirit of Kannur, known as the “Land of Heroes.” The club stated, “This jersey is more than just clothing; it represents our identity and our culture.”
The concept for the kit came from a special competition conducted on social media. In the first phase, an idea-sharing contest, a concept submitted by Alvin was selected. The final training kit was then designed based on a submission by Amal Krishna P.S. from Chempazhanthy, Thiruvananthapuram, in a subsequent design competition.
