Kannur Warriors FC is set to play its final home match of the season today, November 28, 2025. The team will face the strong Calicut FC side at the Kannur Municipal Jawahar Stadium, with the game scheduled to begin at 7:30 PM.

Kannur Warriors enter this match following a loss in their last game at home. The team has not yet secured a win at their home ground this season, with a record of two losses and two draws in four matches. To qualify for the Super League Kerala semi-finals, Kannur must win both of their remaining games. Significant changes are expected in the lineup that played against Forza Kochi, as the team is dealing with several injuries. Midfielder Lovesamba, who is key to controlling the game, had to leave the last match due to an injury.

There is hope that players like Asier Gomes, T Shijin, and Shibin Saad will return to the squad after recovering from their injuries. A victory against Calicut would move Kannur up to third place in the points table. A draw would see them secure the fourth spot.
Calicut FC are the reigning champions of the Super League and a formidable opponent. They have already secured their spot in the semi-finals. The team has a strong lineup across all positions. After eight matches, Calicut FC has scored a total of 17 goals.

Calicut comes into this game after a 3-1 victory over Malappuram FC in their previous match. Their attack features the league’s top scorer, Mohammed Ajsal, and the leading assist provider, Prasanth. Ajsal has scored six goals, while Prasanth has contributed three goals and three assists. The midfield is managed by Federico Boasso and Pereira. In goal is Hajmal Sakeer, who was named the best goalkeeper last season and currently holds the record for the most saves in this season.
