Karim Benzema has always been attuned to the technical abilities of players. This sensitivity is evident as he watches the French national team. In a recent interview with L’Équipe, the former international shared his admiration for several players.
“Ousmane Dembélé is a player who has won the Ballon d’Or. I don’t think he gets enough recognition for that. He wasn’t initially seen as a potential winner of such an award, but he proved everyone wrong. I really like this player,” he stated. He also mentioned, “Michael Olise is a great player too. Rayan Cherki is fantastic. I admire Cherki because he embodies the type of player that France sometimes needs. He takes risks… Of course, there are areas he needs to focus on, but with Pep Guardiola as his coach, he will surely succeed.”
