The Ivorian striker scored again in Red Bull Salzburg’s league win on Sunday, April 5.
Karim Konate had been on a good scoring run but recently went without a goal. His last league goal was on February 22 against LASK, where he scored two goals. Since then, he had not managed to score.
However, on April 5 during matchday 25 of the Austrian Bundesliga, Konate made an impact. With Salzburg behind Hartberg, he equalised in the 57th minute, ending a five-match goal drought. Konate has now netted four goals in nine appearances in the Austrian league this season.
