Kerala Blasters player Abin Das will now play for Kannur Warriors Football Club in the upcoming Super League Kerala. The midfielder has joined the Warriors on a contract deal.

Das is known for his versatility, as he can also play as a winger, providing more options for the team. His playing style involves controlling the midfield, scoring goals, and creating opportunities for others.

After playing for the Kerala Blasters Reserve team, Das made his senior team debut in the 2024-25 Super Cup match against Mohun Bagan Super Giants. In the previous Kerala Premier League season, he scored six goals in 13 appearances for the Blasters.

Das has also represented India at the U-16, U-19, and U-20 levels. He first wore the national jersey during a U-16 tour in Dubai in the 2020-21 season, where he scored a goal against an Abu Dhabi club. In the same year, he was named the Best Player by the Kerala Football Association.

He has competed in the SAFF Cup and Asia Cup at the U-20 level. He was also part of the Indian squad that won the U-19 SAFF Cup in 2023. Earlier in his career, while playing for Kerala in the U-14 National Football Championship, he scored an impressive ten goals in six matches, including two hat-tricks.

Before his time with the Blasters, he played for Little Flower Football Academy and Gokulam Kerala FC. Das is from Pozhiyoor in Thiruvananthapuram.
