Kochi, December 1, 2025: Kerala Blasters FC has partnered with the Kerala State AIDS Control Society (KSACS) to raise public awareness about HIV/AIDS and to express solidarity with those affected by the condition. This World AIDS Day highlights the importance of community participation in HIV prevention.
Aligning with this year’s theme, “Overcoming Crises to Advance AIDS Prevention Efforts,” the collaboration is focused on strengthening public knowledge and encouraging community involvement in HIV prevention.
The state-level inauguration of World AIDS Day observance, organized by KSACS, was held on December 1 at 10 am at the Chavara Cultural Centre in Kochi. The event was inaugurated by Dr. K. J. Reena, Director of the State Health Department. Mr. Raghu Ramachandran, Head of Sponsorship, Commercial & Revenue for Kerala Blasters FC, attended the function and participated in the official announcement of the partnership.
KSACS has a significant role in HIV/AIDS prevention activities in the state. As Kerala strives to meet the World Health Organization’s 95-95-95 targets, this partnership between KSACS and Kerala Blasters FC aims to increase public awareness, reduce social stigma, and support the government’s existing prevention, care, and treatment programs. Using the club’s extensive reach and digital influence, this collaboration is set to boost Kerala’s mission to control HIV/AIDS. This partnership marks a major step in supporting public health initiatives across the state.
