After a decade of glory and sweet memories, Kevin De Bruyne has officially announced that he will leave Manchester City at the end of this season. Through a touching letter that he wrote himself, the Belgian midfield maestro delivered the emotional news to fans.
De Bruyne’s contract with The Citizens is due to expire this summer, and the player has confirmed that he will not extend his service at the Etihad Stadium.
The Belgian player stated that this decision was part of a footballer’s journey, although it was not easy to write. Here is the full excerpt of the farewell letter written by De Bruyne:
