Former Kaizer Chiefs winger Junior Khanye has praised Mbekezeli Mbokazi for his stunning long-range goal against Siwelele FC during the Carling Knockout last 16.
The goal, scored by the 20-year-old central defender, secured a place for the Pirates in the CKO quarterfinals. Khanye believes that Mbokazi will attract many offers for his talent.
“This goal can change his life,” Khanye said on iDiski TV. “It’s up to him now to make the most of this opportunity, as many doors can open for his career.”
“When Orlando Pirates reflect on their history, they will remember this boy. Players come and go, but his goal will be remembered for a long time.”
“I’m referring to Dr. Irvin Khoza, the chairman, and the technical team of Orlando Pirates,” Khanye added.
Next, Mbokazi will represent Bafana Bafana in upcoming matches against Zimbabwe and Rwanda.
