Former Kaizer Chiefs player Junior Khanye thinks Glody Lilepo should stop playing as a winger.
The 28-year-old Congolese international joined the team in January from French club Valenciennes FC. He has since made 29 appearances and scored seven goals while playing on the wing.
Khanye believes Lilepo is skilled at shooting and has the height to effectively handle crosses, suggesting he should be used as a striker.
“They’re putting him in the wrong position; he’s a striker,” Khanye said on iDiski TV. “I don’t see him as a winger because he shoots from anywhere. When he’s on the right side, he takes shots regardless of the angle.”

“Although he’s technically skilled and can cover both sides, he should be a striker.”
“Let him play in that position; his height is an advantage for heading in crosses. He should be up front,” Khanye added.
Lilepo’s next match with Amakosi will be in the CAF Confederation Cup against AS Simba on the weekend of October 17-18.
