In the King’s Cup 2025, Al-Ittihad defeated Al-Nassr 2-1 in a match held at Al-Awwal Park. Al-Ittihad managed to secure the victory and advance to the quarter-finals despite playing with only 10 men for over 40 minutes after Ahmed Al Julaidan received a red card.
The match began with Karim Benzema giving Al-Ittihad an early lead. Al-Nassr soon leveled the score with a goal from Angelo Silva. However, just before the first half ended, Houssem Aouar scored to put Al-Ittihad back in front.
Following the break, Sergio Conceicao’s team displayed a solid defense and were precise with their counter-attacks. Their strategy successfully contained Al-Nassr’s key players like Joao Felix and Kingsley Coman, which helped them hold onto their lead and win the game.
