Kingsley Coman Signs with Al-Nassr from Bayern Munich

Bayern Munich have confirmed that French winger Kingsley Coman has joined Saudi Pro League side Al-Nassr, bringing an end to his nine-year spell with the German champions.

Coman, who scored the winning goal in the 2020 UEFA Champions League final, was officially unveiled by Al-Nassr on Saturday. The move is reported to be worth around €30 million including bonuses, though the club did not disclose the exact fee.

“Kingsley has been an important part of our success in recent years. We thank him for everything he has done for the club and wish him the best for his future,” Bayern CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen said in the official statement.

The 29-year-old’s switch to Riyadh will see him link up with Cristiano Ronaldo and other high-profile signings in Saudi Arabia’s ongoing push to attract global football stars. Reports suggest Coman has signed a three-year deal with a significant salary package.

Coman joined Bayern from Juventus in 2015 and went on to win the Bundesliga title in every season he played for the club. His pace and ability on the wing made him one of the most dangerous attackers in Europe, although injuries often disrupted his rhythm.

At Al-Nassr, Coman will be expected to add creativity and experience as the team continues to challenge for domestic and continental honours. The Saudi Pro League has been making headlines in recent years by attracting top-tier players from Europe with lucrative contracts.

For Bayern, this marks another high-profile departure in the summer window as the club reshapes its squad. The Bundesliga season has only just begun, and fans will be watching closely to see how the team adapts without one of its most decisive forwards.
