The serious illness has receded, allowing the player to return to his career.
Good news for Las Palmas supporters and football fans in general.
Details: As reported by FootballTweet, Kirian Rodríguez, a 29-year-old attacking midfielder for the Spanish team Las Palmas, has fully recovered from cancer and is now cleared to play professional football again.
In 2022, Rodríguez was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s lymphoma, a type of cancer that affects the lymphatic system. This diagnosis forced him to pause his career for treatment. In 2023, it was reported that he had overcome the illness, but a relapse occurred later. Now, sources confirm he has been given the “all clear,” marking a complete victory over the illness.
Rodríguez has been with the Las Palmas academy since his youth and has spent his entire career with the club, making 165 appearances, scoring 13 goals, and providing 15 assists.
