The victory for Les Dogues came from Ethan Mbappé, the younger brother of Kylian Mbappé. The 18-year-old midfielder scored his first professional goal. Entering the game with only nine minutes left, he made a remarkable impact in stoppage time by connecting with a cross and shooting the ball into the top left corner.

Ethan joined Lille from PSG in 2024 with a three-year contract. He has played 20 matches at the professional level, including five for PSG.
