After finishing last in Serie A, Fiorentina has decided to part ways with Stefano Pioli. The club has brought in Paolo Vanoli, who previously managed Torino last season, as his replacement.
“ACF Fiorentina announces that Paolo Vanoli is the new head coach of the purple first team. Born in Varese on August 12, 1972, Vanoli has coached Italy’s U16, U18, and U19 national teams, Spartak Moscow, where he won a Russian Cup, as well as Venezia and Torino. The new Fiorentina coach will lead his first training session at Viola Park this afternoon.”, states the Italian club.
