Barcelona forward Lamine Yamal and Argentine singer Nicki Nicole have officially broken up. This relationship attracted a lot of media attention recently. Yamal confirmed the split, addressing rumors of potential infidelity.
The 18-year-old player spoke with Spanish journalist and YouTuber Javi Hoyos, who shared on his show and social media on November 1 that Yamal reached out to clarify the situation.
“We’re no longer together, but it wasn’t due to infidelity. We simply ended things, that’s all. What’s being said is unrelated to our relationship. I haven’t been unfaithful or involved with anyone else,” Yamal reportedly told Hoyos.
Rumors of cheating emerged after sources like Debate and La Gazzetta claimed Yamal attended a private party in Milan, where he was supposedly seen with 20-year-old Italian model Anna Gegnoso.

Nicki Nicole also denied the rumors, stating that if Yamal had cheated, she would have publicly addressed it as she has in the past. She previously ended her relationship with Peso Pluma in February 2024 after he was seen with another woman shortly after the Super Bowl.
“If someone cheated on me, I’d be the first to make it known, just like before,” Nicki wrote. She noted that they had initially wanted to keep their split private, but chose to clarify after photos of Yamal with another woman surfaced.
“We weren’t together even before this. We weren’t planning to announce it, but with everything happening, I wanted to clarify. You can share this if you wish, but please don’t leak our private conversation,” she concluded.
Currently, Yamal and Nicole have removed any photos of each other from their social media, although they previously shared many moments together. Their relationship, which drew much attention, ended abruptly.
