Quote: “Anyone who claims they don’t want to win the Ballon d’Or isn’t telling the truth. It’s a privilege to be nominated at just 18. I hope it becomes a reality,” said Yamal.

The 2025 Ballon d’Or will, for the fourth time, be based on the results from the season rather than the calendar year. This will cover the period from August 1, 2024, to July 31, 2025. The awards ceremony is scheduled for September 22, 2025.

Reminder: On Yamal’s Instagram, he shared a photo with popular Argentine rapper Nicki Nicole. The picture includes a cake and flowers, and Yamal commented with heart emojis.
