Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has provided an update on the injuries of six players, including Declan Rice, David Raya, Kai Havertz, and Martin Odegaard.
During his pre-match press conference for the upcoming Premier League match against Brighton, Arteta expressed hope that Rice will be ready to play after being substituted in the second half of the recent 2-1 victory over Chelsea. He mentioned that Rice is now feeling “much better.”
Odegaard’s status remains uncertain as he missed the game against Chelsea due to a knee issue sustained against Brentford in February.
A decision about Havertz will be made later. He recently returned from a muscle injury by coming off the bench against Chelsea.
Raya is fit after overcoming a minor issue, while Ben White is unavailable. Max Dowman has recovered from an ankle injury and is in line for selection after participating in an U21 match.

When asked about player availability for the Brighton match, Arteta stated: “Especially Kai. He has participated in part of the session, so we will see whether he is fully fit.”
“Martin is another concern. We will assess how comfortable he is in certain situations.”
On Rice, he added: “He was much better today. We haven’t had much time to train, just two days before the game, but I hope he improves tomorrow.”
