Leeds United will play Chelsea in the FA Cup semi-finals after Sunday’s draw.
This marks Leeds’ first appearance in the FA Cup semi-finals in 39 years, following a penalty shootout win against West Ham in a dramatic quarter-final.
Leeds had a 2-0 lead until stoppage time, but West Ham made a strong comeback, scoring twice to equalize and pushing the match into extra time. Two of West Ham’s additional goals were disallowed for offside.
Daniel Farke’s team will meet Chelsea at Wembley later this month. The other semi-final will see Manchester City take on Southampton, who defeated Premier League leaders Arsenal in the previous round and are the only Football League team remaining in the tournament.
The semi-finals are scheduled for the weekend of April 25th and 26th.
