Liam Rosenior is ready to embrace youth as he prepares for his first match with Chelsea.
Chelsea will begin their FA Cup journey this Saturday against Charlton Athletic.
With a Carabao Cup match against Arsenal upcoming, it will be interesting to see how Rosenior chooses his team for this debut.
He is likely to include Alejandro Garnacho, Jamie Gittens, and Estevao Willian in a youthful lineup.
With Enzo Maresca leaving, it is a great opportunity for younger players to make an impression under the new manager.

Rosenior took chances on young players like Mike Penders and Emanuel Emegha at Strasbourg, which proved successful. So, it’s reasonable to expect a similar approach at Chelsea.
Estevao Willian, who missed the last squad against Fulham, is likely to be involved this time, allowing him to showcase his talent early on.
Jesse Derry, an 18-year-old forward, has also been seen training with the first team ahead of the Charlton match.
Although he hasn’t debuted yet, Derry has had a solid season with the U21s and in the UEFA Youth League, scoring 10 goals, including a hat-trick for England U19s last November.
Shim Mheuka and Reggie Walsh also seen in training
Shim Mheuka and Reggie Walsh have both had some first-team experience under Enzo Maresca, preparing them for this new chapter.
Mheuka came off the bench in the Carabao Cup win over Lincoln City in September.
Walsh’s journey is notable; he made his debut at just 16 in the UEFA Conference League, becoming Chelsea’s third-youngest player. This season, he also made his Champions League debut in the 5-1 win over Ajax.
With Rosenior now in charge, both players will hope to secure regular playing time going forward.
