Details: Today, the Spanish version of the official French Ligue 1 page on social media X shared a touching tribute to the legendary 38-year-old Lionel Messi.
Ligue 1 encourages everyone to care for the Earth, as it’s the only place to see Messi’s talent on the field:
“Let’s protect the Earth — it’s the only planet where Leo Messi plays.”
The accompanying image features the Earth, taken through a porthole by the Artemis II crew aboard the Orion spacecraft, exploring space.
Leo played in French Ligue 1 from 2021 to 2023 with PSG, joining them from Barcelona as a free agent.
In the summer of 2023, Messi left PSG to join Inter Miami, where he still plays now.
