Sergio Busquets plans to stay involved in soccer after retirement

Busquets, whose contract runs until December 2025, is already thinking about his future after retirement. Recognized for his significant influence on the game, he aims to remain connected to soccer. He intends to take on a specific coaching role following his playing career.

In a 2023 interview with Agencia EFE, he shared his goal of becoming a soccer coach: “Playing in a position that requires some knowledge of how to manage the team has influenced me and made me interested in becoming a coach.
