A candidate to succeed the Egyptian star has already been identified.
The Reds are planning ahead in the transfer market.
Details: As reported by DailyMailSport journalist Lewis Steele, English club Liverpool is worried about the future impact of their 33-year-old star Mohamed Salah’s age and contract length on the team’s attacking strength. To address this, the club is looking for Salah’s potential replacement, focusing on 23-year-old French midfielder Michael Olise from Bayern Munich.
Currently, no formal offer has been made, but Olise is seen as the prime candidate to enhance Liverpool’s squad for the upcoming season.
Olise transferred to Bayern last summer from Crystal Palace for €53 million. Since then, he has played 59 matches for the club, scoring 24 goals and providing 23 assists. He has also represented the national team 14 times, scoring 4 goals. His contract with Bayern runs until 2029, and Transfermarkt estimates his market value at €100 million.
Reminder: Mohamed Salah bids farewell to Harvey Elliott after his move to Aston Villa.
