It will be a tough task ahead.

After missing out on signing Crystal Palace defender Marc Guehi, Liverpool supporters took comfort in the possibility of him being available next year for free. However, attracting him will not be easy.

Details: As reported by The Sun, both Real Madrid and Barcelona are now interested in Guehi, who is the captain of Crystal Palace. Starting in January, he can sign a pre-contract with any club to officially move on July 1, but it’s uncertain if Liverpool will be his choice.

Reminder: Crystal Palace manager Oliver Glasner has strongly advocated for keeping Guehi at the club. There were even speculations that he might resign if the defender moved to Liverpool.

Although both the player and coach have remained at the club, Glasner’s relationship with chairman Steve Parish is now facing serious challenges.
