Details: As reported by talkSport, 21-year-old centre-back Ousmane Diomande from Lisbon’s Sporting has gained the interest of Liverpool. Club scouts have reviewed his performances and believe he aligns well with the style that head coach Arne Slot aims to implement.
Currently, Liverpool’s management is exploring whether a transfer can happen in the winter window or if they need to wait until summer.
Diomande joined Sporting from Midtjylland in 2023 for €14.5 million and has since established himself as a key defensive player. He has played 103 matches, scoring 6 goals and providing 2 assists. His contract with the Portuguese club runs until 2027, and according to Transfermarkt, his market value is €45 million.
