Luis Enrique Frustrated by Individual Awards

The Ballon d’Or, African Ballon d’Or, Asian Ballon d’Or, Golden Boy, and Trophée Yachine have recently recognized several players from Paris Saint-Germain (PSG). Most recently, Achraf Hakimi joined this impressive list, celebrating a remarkable year for the club. However, manager Luis Enrique is keen to refocus the team’s efforts on collective performance. During a press conference on Friday, he expressed his concerns about the distraction caused by individual awards.

“I am somewhat concerned about the noise surrounding the team and the awards given to players. This is a team sport, and we need to be ready to work together. Individual awards do not interest me. I’m a bit worried because I don’t want to dwell on the past. Less focus on awards and more on what we want to achieve,” said the Asturian.
