Details: According to Ouest-France, the bus carrying Luxembourg’s U-21 national team was involved in an accident while returning from practice.
An investigation is underway, with eyewitnesses stating that the driver lost consciousness unexpectedly.
The accident happened in Langidic (Morbihan) on the KM24 highway towards Lorient – Rennes. There were 33 individuals on the bus at the time. The fire service reported no serious injuries, but eight people were taken to local hospitals.
The France and Luxembourg youth teams were meant to face each other tonight in the first round of Group C, but the match has now been postponed to October.
