Makgopa replaces Rayners in Bafana squad
Iqraam Rayners from Mamelodi Sundowns has left the Bafana Bafana squad due to medical issues.
Orlando Pirates’ Makgopa will take his place as they prepare for the last two FIFA World Cup 2026 qualifiers.
Along with Makgopa, coach Hugo Broos will also have Burnley striker Lyle Foster, who has scored one goal and provided one assist in seven Premier League matches.
