Malappuram: Mohammed Riswan will play for Malappuram in the upcoming second season of the Super League Kerala. Malappuram FC has signed the young forward from Gokulam Kerala. Riswan is 20 years old and hails from Mukkam in Kozhikode. He is a versatile player who can perform well on both wings and is noted for his goal-scoring and passing abilities.
Riswan started his career through the youth team of FC Areekode. He later played for Areekode in the 2022-23 Reliance Development League and the 2023-24 Kerala Premier League, scoring five goals. His strong performances in both leagues led to his signing by Gokulam Kerala. For Gokulam, he played in the 2024-25 Development League and the Kerala Premier League, where he scored four goals.
Additionally, he has played for the Goan First Division team, Sporting Clube de Candolim. In 2023, Riswan was part of the Malappuram district team in the U-20 Youth Championship. He has also represented Kozhikode in the State School Football Championship. Led by Scouting Director Anas Edathodika, Malappuram is building a strong squad for the upcoming season.
