Malick Thiaw’s Transfer to Newcastle United

A major transfer has been confirmed in the English Premier League as Newcastle United officially announced the signing of German defender Malick Thiaw. The 24-year-old makes the big move from Italian giants AC Milan. The deal is reported to be worth over £30 million, which translates to more than ₹315 crore, with Thiaw signing a long-term contract with the club.

Manager Eddie Howe also expressed his delight, stating that a player with Thiaw’s experience in top European leagues would be a huge asset. He noted that Thiaw’s arrival would bring significant strength to the team’s defence.

This signing is seen as crucial for Newcastle as they prepare for a challenging season that includes Champions League football. Standing tall at 6’4″, the young defender is expected to bring more stability and physical power to the backline.
