Manchester City is in talks with Bournemouth to sign Antoine Semenyo.
Semenyo has a £65 million release clause that can be activated in the first 10 days of the upcoming January transfer window, starting on Thursday.
The winger prefers City, even with interest from Manchester United.
Other clubs like Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal, and Tottenham Hotspur also want him, but they haven’t made formal moves yet.
Pep Guardiola’s team aims to complete the deal for Semenyo quickly. Sky Sports reports that they have begun discussions with Bournemouth regarding the release clause details.

Reports indicate that the fee is an initial £60 million, plus £5 million in add-ons. Semenyo’s representatives are expected to visit Manchester to finalize personal terms.
City is eager to sign Semenyo as Guardiola looks to revamp his attack. Even with strong performances from Phil Foden, Rayan Cherki, and Erling Haaland, Guardiola seeks more pace and unpredictability in his lineup.
The 25-year-old has netted nine goals in the Premier League this season and is seen as a versatile player, able to play in various attacking roles.
